Supreme Steel Framing System Certification

Architectural Testing was selected to be the Administrator of a third-party certification program developed by the Supreme Steel Framing System Association (SSFSA). The certification program is a comprehensive, rigorous resource which provides independent verification of the quality of this proprietary, non-structural cold-formed steel framing. Architectural Testing is accredited as an independent inspection agency to the requirements of ISO 17020, and is also accredited as an independent testing laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025. Verification of the manufacturer's certification is supported with unannounced manufacturing facility audits, and independent random sampling and testing of certified products for compliance to the program requirements.

Manufacturers, specifiers, and users of Supreme Steel Framing benefit from this certification:

• Manufacturers can assure specifiers and users that their products meet or exceed code requirements as referenced by the Certification Program.
• End-users can be confident that products bearing the SSFSA certification label are verified to meet the program requirements on an on-going basis through independent inspection and testing.

Certification Label

Supreme Steel cold-formed framing products certified under the SSFSA Third-Party Certification Program are marked with the program’s Certification Label. Only products that have been verified to meet the Program requirements are authorized to bear this label.
